Ancient Clay Tablet Allows Experts to Reconstruct Bronze Age Ship

Experts have successfully reconstructed a Bronze Age ship after studying an ancient clay tablet. The replica Magan boat, spanning 59 feet in length, was built using techniques dating back to 2100 BC. Magan boats were crucial for maritime trade between societies in Mesopotamia and the Indus Valley, enabling the exchange of goods like copper and semiprecious stones. This project provided valuable insights into ancient craftsmanship and the role of Abu Dhabi in Bronze Age trade. The ship, made using traditional methods, recently completed its maiden voyage off the coast of Abu Dhabi.
